No, the wholesale water company in your area will continue to maintain your pipes and network, but they don’t supply you directly. As a retailer, we supply your service and billing and can supply your sites in both England and Scotland on one bill.
If you’re offered a better deal within 30 days of transferring to Clear Business Water Limited, just send us the full details by email to pricepromise@kinex.co.uk and we’ll BEAT that price or allow you to cancel without charge. You’ll just need to pay for the services provided during your time with us. Competitor’s offer must be for the same services and include prices for all service types, any applicable meter type, water usage, waste water usage and property and highways drainage.
We aren’t able pay the outstanding balance with your current supplier. This means you’ll have to pay any monies owed to the previous suppler even after you transfer to Clear Business Water Limited. If your account is overdue by 90 days or more, you may not be able to transfer to us unless your account is settled.
All services you take from us will be invoiced on our unique one bill solution on a monthly basis. We issue bills around the 10th of the month and collect our Direct Debits approximately 7 days later.
If you have a meter, your meter is read when you transfer your services over to Clear Business Water Limited, and every six months thereafter by us. We use these readings to calculate your estimated monthly bills. To ensure you receive the most up-to-date monthly bills, we encourage you to take your own meter readings each month (if it’s safe for you to do so) and send them to us by the last day of the month.

If you’re a telecoms customer whose business has closed as a result of the national restrictions and you need a call divert adding to your line, no problem, simply click here and follow the on-screen instructions. If you’re an electricity, gas or water customer whose business has closed as a result of the national restrictions and you didn’t give us a read within a few days prior to closing, it’s really important that you give us an up to date meter read now and another one as soon as you reopen. This is so that you only pay for what you’ve used. Here’s our helpful guide on how to read your meter. You can submit your meter read by logging into your exclusive Customer Zone portal or by emailing meterread@kinex.co.uk. If you email us, please remember to include your account number and the date you took the meter reading.
