We will do our best to ensure a smooth transition when transferring Broadband services and with our Essential or Unlimited Broadband services it is unlikely you will notice any downtime. However, like all service providers, we cannot guarantee no downtime. With our Absolute Fibre Broadband there may be temporary downtime.
If you’re charged an Early Termination Charge (ETC) we’ll pay up to a maximum of £300 into your bank account. Send us your final invoice from your previous supplier and we’ll make payment to your bank account within 28 days. 5

You’ll just need to pay for the services provided during your time with us. Applies to line rental, UK call services, Broadband and fibre. All services you take from kinex will be invoiced on our unique one bill solution on a monthly basis. We issue bills around the 10th of the month and collect our Direct Debits shortly after.

1 The actual speed you will receive is subject to line distance from the exchange, or principal connection point for fibre connections, and line quality. Speeds vary significantly by location. External factors e.g. internet congestion and premises wiring can also significantly affect speed. Fibre is subject to exchange availability. See Charges Schedule for more information.
2 kinex operates a fair usage policy for its Unlimited Broadband and Fibre Broadband. You will incur no additional charge or suspension of service as a consequence of exceeding any usage threshold. If kinex believes that your use of the service is adversely affecting the network (or any part of it) or other customers, then kinex may moderately regulate your usage.

5 Applies to Landline and Broadband customers only. There is a maximum of one payment to the bank account, details of which we hold for you, of up to £300 in total per customer. To qualify for this offer, you must send kinex a copy of the invoice from your previous supplier that shows the value of the ETC and the date of the invoice, which must be after the date on which kinex placed an order to transfer your services to kinex. kinex may require a copy of your existing contract to validate you are being correctly charged an ETC. If the contract between you and kinex is terminated during the Minimum Period (as defined in your terms and conditions), you must repay all ETC amounts paid by kinex in full. The amount we will pay is the lower of (1) your ETC and (2) £300.
