How does the BEAT Your Renewal Quote Guarantee work?

Your renewal quote will be provided by your supplier towards the end of your current contract. If that first renewal quote is cheaper than the prices agreed with us, just send us the full details at least 14 days before your start date by email to pricepromise@kinex.co.uk and we’ll beat that quote.

How will I be billed?

All services you take from kinex will be invoiced on our unique one bill solution on a monthly basis. We issue bills around the 10th of the month and collect our Direct Debits shortly after.

How will you calculate my Direct Debit?

If you submit regular monthly meter reads, we will calculate your usage and invoice you for the services that you have used. If we can’t get accurate meter readings, we invoice you based on your estimated annual consumption. To avoid this, you should submit meter reads between 28th and 31st of every month. You can do this over the phone by calling 0161 465 6655, by emailing meterread@kinex.co.uk or by submitting them on your Customer Zone here.

How do I submit a meter read?

You can do this in a matter of clicks through your Customer Zone here, by calling 0161 465 6655 or by emailing meterread@kinex.co.uk. To make sure your invoice is as accurate as possible, please submit your reads between 28th and 31st of every month.

How is my bill calculated?

Your gas or electricity bill is made up of two elements:

  • The standing charge – the fixed daily amount that covers the costs of transporting energy to your premises and maintaining your meter.
  • The unit rate – the price you pay for the gas or electricity you use, usually measured in pence per kilowatt-hour (kWh). Depending on your meter, you might have different unit rates for electricity, such as day and night rates.
