Helping young people to soar, Little Eagles Pre-School is a safe, fun and friendly environment where children can socialise and learn through play.
kinex was recently pleased to be able to offer the small rural pre-school in Nether Alderley, Cheshire, a helping hand in the form of a £500 donation to buy new educational toys for the children.
Marie Danby, Committee Board Secretary, says: “A huge thank you to the kinex Community Support Scheme for your very generous donation to our pre-school. We’re are often trying to raise funds through local events at the school such as, Swimathons, seasonal fairs, sponsored walks, etc, to raise funds to improve the facilities and equipment at the pre-school. We are currently trying to raise money to replace the toys we have here. Most are very old, second hand, pieces missing or not relevant to the learning tools we want to be able to provide. We are in desperate need for new outdoor toys, wooden education toys, role play equipment and construction toys.
“This wonderful donation will enable us to buy new learning toys for the children to enjoy – and generations of children to come.”
The Little Eagles Pre-School is based in the grounds of Nether Alderley Primary School and provides play-based learning to up to 16 children aged 2-4 years-old. You can find out more about the work of the pre-school on its website at www.littleeagles.co.uk
The kinex Community Support Scheme awards £100-£500 to organisations, charities and community groups that make a positive impact in their local communities. We receive applications from all over the country and choose one organisation to support each month.
