‘More than just a café’ Sound Bites is a quirky, waterside venue preparing fresh, made to order, restaurant-style food on a smaller scale. The family and dog friendly café has been recently revamped and is up and coming in the area, receiving positive feedback across online platforms. Owner Nick Miles and Debbie Mcloughlin took over the kinex Telecoms and Broadband contract when he took over the location.
‘kinex was already in place as the Telecoms and Broadband provider when I took over the venue in March 2018. Rather than looking to change and risking disruption, we decided to stay with them and we’re really happy we did.’
Mr Miles started off by speaking to the kinex team to ensure his setup was correct. ‘It’s certainly been a good customer experience. I spoke to the kinex team who identified that we had an out-of-date router and they sent us a new one free of charge. Everything I have asked for has been done, which is a 10/10 service in my opinion.’
And it’s not just his own experience that Mr Miles is pleased about:‘We are able to give back to the Sound Bites Café customers too, by providing free Wi-Fi. People are now coming to the café especially to use the Wi-Fi, including those who live on the marina. We do everything we can to suit our customers’ needs, such as cooking up requests that aren’t on the menu, so it’s great to be able to give this back to our little community too.’
